Covid 19 has changed many things across the world, and property inspections are no different. Oakland County Home Inspections believes in doing our part to stop the spread of Covid-19. Please check back here prior to your inspection for up to date safety practices we are implementing for our inspections for your safety and ours.
Who can attend a property inspection?
The client(s), inspector and person granting access. The client(s) should be 1-2 people from the SAME household. At this time we request that sellers are not to be present for property inspections to minimize exposure.
Do I need to wear a mask?
At this time we ask that all attending parties wear a mask. This is for the safety of you, our inspector and the attending agent.

If you, or anyone in you household is sick(not just Covid) PLEASE stay home. We send ALL our inspection reports electronically within 24 hours and are happy to discuss the report over the phone. We even have option for sewer inspections results to be sent to you or your agent.
Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19 and should seek proper medical care/testing:
Fever or chills Cough Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing Fatigue Muscle or body aches Headache
New loss of taste or smell Sore throat Congestion or runny nose Nausea or vomiting Diarrhea
Oakland County Home Inspections are doing our part by wearing a mask, gloves when appropriate, sanitize/wash our hands & equipment and are keeping our 6 foot distance. We respectfully ask those present for an inspection to do the same.
