Our inspector, Dean, is a City Building Inspector and Plan Reviewer, Registered Code Official & Inspector by MI Dept. of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, an approved 203k Consultant by US Department of HUD. As a member of SEMBOIA we receive the monthly continuing education required by the State of Michigan. The SouthEast Michigan Building Officials & Inspectors Association provides high quality continuing education training for the re-registration of building officials, building inspectors, and plan examiners as required under Michigan Public Act 407 of 2016.

Dean is also certified by InterNACHI. All InterNACHI inspectors have a total of 86 training hours they receive through  the program. InterNACHI inspectors are also required to take 24 hours of continuing education per year to maintain their certification status. We are also licensed builders and are required to take a 60 hour training course and pass a mandatory two-part State exam, that is always being changed and updated. Licensed builders are also required to take continuing competency courses before renewing their license every three years to ensure we stay up to date on new technology, codes and minimum standards of building.
